Financial Aid

Financial aid awards for new students will be announced in April-May 2013 for the school year beginning in August 2013. To be considered for Financial Aid, you must complete the financial aid forms through SSS. Click here for more information on the SSS.

Need-Based Financial Aid

Financial need is determined by taking into account many factors including income, net worth, standard living expenses, family size, and the number of children attending tuition-charging schools.

Financial Aid Process Overview

Step 1: Begin the application process for your daughter’s admission into Huakailani School for Girls by completing  the enrollment application admission process by submitting a $50 application fee and all required documents.

Step 2: Complete the online financial aid forms through SSS. Click here for the information.

Step 3: Complete the Huakailani Financial Aid application.

The Admissions Office must make a decision on your daughter’s enrollment prior to awarding financial aid.

Huakailani School uses the School and Student Services (SSS by NAIS) to help determine eligibility. Families must submit the completed Parents’ FinancialStatement (PFS) and the appropriate fee to Randolph, MA for processing. The PFS is available online at sss.nais.org/parents.

The Huakailani SSS code number is 155627

Use this number to complete PFS item 5.

How is Aid Awarded?

Aid is awarded by the Financial Aid Committee and is granted to students who have a demonstrated financial need and maintain a satisfactory school record of grades and citizenship. Aid is granted for a period of one year, based on current information; changes in a family’s situation may change the amount awarded from year to year.

Currently enrolled students paying full tuition may apply for aid; however, the application must include a statement detailing the changes in circumstances responsible for the financial aid request. The Financial Aid Committee reserves the right to make grants as it sees fit within the existing resources after all applications are reviewed.

Huakailani School for Girls does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, gender, age or disability in administration of its educational or admission policies, financial aid programs, athletic and other School administered programs or its employment practices.
